The Under 35s Reinsurance Group has developed over many years to become a large and diverse group engaging in a variety of educational and social activities for young professionals in the Reinsurance market.

The primary goal of this group is to bring members together to network, socialise, learn and experience. The Committee organise a range of events throughout the year which are published to members through our mailing list and across our social media accounts. Our calendar aims to hold events throughout the year and offer something for everyone. Our long-running, historical events include the Balloon Debate, Educational Trip, Winter Party, Underwriting Seminar and our Lecture Series* held in the Lloyd’s Library. We have recently added events and programs such as the Full and Beginner Golf Days, our Mentorship Scheme and a Charity Bike Ride.

The final aspect of our annual objectives is fundraising for charitable causes. Our charity partner for each year is decided at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). To date, we have raised over £60,000 for our charity partners and this number continues to grow year on year thanks to the generosity of our membership base.

*Our lectures and seminars are recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute, Lloyd's and the Institute of Risk Management, qualifying for individual CPD credits.
